It's a Wonderful Life Movie Screening at York Theatre

Round up your family and friends for this free showing of the iconic holiday film, It's a Wonderful Life, on the big screen at York Theatre! Take a trip back to Bedford Falls circa 1945 with George and Mary Bailey, Clarence the guardian angel, Zuzu, Uncle Billy--and so many memorable characters--as George considers what life in his small town would be like without him. After the movie, stop by Elmhurst City Centre to see the festive holiday display and Santa, snap a "Wonderful Life" photo op in the EHM tent, and enjoy holiday music.

Snow Globe Craft Activity

Time: 12 noon-3 p.m. Cost: $4 per participant
Location: Elmhurst History Museum Education Center, 120 E. Park Ave.

Families are invited to the Elmhurst History Museum after the movie to see the Hometown Holiday: It's a Wonderful Life in Elmhurst exhibit and participate in a waterless snow globe craft activity in our Education Center. All ages, all materials will be provided.

Victorian Valentine Making

Time:2-4 p.m.  Cost: $3 per person

During the Victorian Era, elaborately detailed valentines were a popular way to express admiration and affection with loved ones. Participants of all ages are invited to view our display in the Heart's Desire exhibit for inspiration, and then make a special valentine to be shared on February 14th. Craft supplies provided, All ages welcome!
