Head back to school at the historic Churchville Schoolhouse, one of the oldest structures in DuPage County (c. 1846) and one of the few remaining one-room schoolhouses in Illinois located on its original site. Experience interactive class with the schoolmarm, old-fashioned games, live music by the Battlefield Balladeers, and vintage crafts. The Conrad Fisher Singers from Conrad Fisher Elementary School in Elmhurst perform folk songs from American history at 11:30AM and 1PM. Learn to do folk dances like the Virginia Reel and Circassian Circle dance led by the schoolmarm. Light refreshments provided. Rain or shine. Churchville Schoolhouse is a National Register of Historic Places site owned by the City of Elmhurst and managed by Elmhurst History Museum.
