Summer Family Fun Series: The Art of Rock & Disco—Record Album Art

Time:  10:30am–12 p.m.

Disco or Classic Rock?  No matter your style, there was an art to how this music was marketed, and album covers were important creative expressions of the artists and their songs. With a real DJ, we will listen to the different sounds of classic rock and disco music and learn about how these artists expressed themselves through the artwork on their album covers.  Families will then have their own try at making their own album art. Limit: 40 participants per program. Appropriate for kids age 5-12 accompanied by an adult.
Cost per child:  $5 Members/$7 Non-Members
Location:
Elmhurst History Museum Education Center, 120 E. Park Ave., Elmhurst
