RJ Lindsey Presents General Charles Dawes

Sunday, November 11, 2018

In honor of Veteran’s Day, living history impersonator R.J. Lindsey brings World War I general, politician, and diplomat Charles Dawes to life through a dramatic first-person presentation. Dawes famously coordinated American, British, Belgium, Italian, and French military requirements during the Great War, earning high honors from all five nations. He was a co-recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize in 1925 for his work on the Dawes Plan for WWI reparations. Dawes also served as the 30th U.S. Vice President alongside Calvin Coolidge from 1925-1929 and he was appointed Ambassador to the U.K. in 1929. This year marks the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I.
