Frank Lloyd Wright: Architecture of the Interior

October 23-December 20, 2020

Frank Lloyd Wright created the visual character of an interior space in myriad ways, both obvious and subtle, with each object acting as an essential detail of the larger whole. Wright believed in organic design that unified every feature of the house to express a single vision down to the smallest details. Through reproduction drawings, house plans, and photographs, explore the ingenious ways in which Wright maximized the feeling of open space while still accommodating the various functions of daily living.
