    Looking for affordable family fun this Spring Break? Families are invited to visit the Churchville One-Room Schoolhouse and Fischer Farm for a history-themed scavenger hunt through the buildings and grounds. At the Schoolhouse, kids will participate in early 20th-century lessons, play old-fashioned games, practice penmanship, and make a craft while supplies last. At Fischer Farm, tour the buildings and visit the animals. Drop in, no registration required. Appropriate for all ages, kids must be accompanied by an adult. Prizes for participants completing the hunt at both locations.     Political gladiators Abraham Lincoln and Stephen Douglas meet again in Elmhurst City Council Chambers to discuss the turbulent times of the 1850s as America spiraled toward Civil War. Watch two accomplished first-person presenters George Buss (Lincoln) and Tim Connors (Douglas) recreate highlights from this historic series of seven debates that took place across Illinois at a crucial time in our country’s history.
