GET READY FOR OUR 2019 SUMMER CAMPS!
Are you looking for a different camp experience for your kids this summer? Elmhurst History Museum has two fun and engaging options for curious kids entering 2nd-5th grades:
- Museum Explorers Camp, June 10-14: Kids will explore local cultural institutions including Elmhurst History Museum, Fischer Farm and Churchville Schoolhouse, Elmhurst Art Museum, and Trailside Museum of Natural History. Planned activities include design-your-own roller coasters, making kinetic art and solar prints, playing vintage baseball, and learning how to curate a museum exhibit.
- NEW! Time Trekkers Camp, June 24-28: Campers will discover some of the most important technological, scientific, and cultural innovations throughout history through hands-on experiments and creative projects. Planned activities include making film canister rockets and pizza box solar ovens, visiting Kline Creek Farm to learn about the evolution of agriculture, and more.
- Each camp runs Monday-Friday, 9-3 p.m. Cost is $210 per week.
