Take an outdoor tour of Elmhurst, either on foot or two wheels, and try out a fun plaque scavenger hunt to share with family and friends while adhering to safe social distancing. Elmhurst Walking & Biking History Tour: Embark on a local biking, walking, or running tour that takes a 5K loop through central Elmhurst calling attention to interesting historical places and sights along the way.
Bronze Plaque Adventure Scavenger Hunt: Take a trip through time and learn a little local history while searching for Elmhurst treasures captured in bronze (and stone) historic markers sprinkled around town. Look for clues at each location and fill in the answers to become an Elmhurst history detective. Route starts and ends at the Elmhurst History Museum. Appr. 1.5-mile loop through downtown Elmhurst.
