Elmhurst Time Travelers - December 2016

Tune into to our latest installment in the Time Travelers local history program on cable TV. Time Travelers is an ongoing series filmed at the Churchville Schoolhouse, and hosted by Mr. Ken Bartels.

This month's topic is "Forgotten Memories," and Ken welcomes guests Brian Bergheger, Director of the Elmhurst History Museum, and John Quigley, President and CEO of the Elmhurst Chamber of Commerce. The discussion explored changes to such Elmhurst sites as the College View Terrace subdivision (formerly Elmhurst Golf Club), Patten Tractor (formerly Elmhurst Airport), Edward-Elmhurst Hospital (formerly Celozzi-Ettleson Chevrolet), Oakbrook Terrace Tower (former Kiddie Kingdom and Castle of Toys), and others. Photographs from the museum collection are featured in the program.

The program airs on Comcast Channel 6 and AT&T U-Verse Channel 99 on Mondays and Saturdays at 4 p.m. throughout the month of December. The program can also be viewed online in the coming weeks at www.ElmhurstTV.com
